Thardeep Rural Development Programe (TRDP) is currently seeking qualified and experienced applicants to fll the above mentioned position based in its Head Office Mithi, District Tharparkar. Details of the Position are:
Job Location: Mithi, District Tharparkar
Department: Accounting / Auditing
Core Responsibilities :
It is a middle level position that reports to the Manager Internal Audit Functions and is required to undertake internal auditing of TRDP’s Social Mobilization and Micro Finance Sectors which access or use TRDP’s financial resources to implement projects and Progame activities. The role would include review of the adequacy of internal controls and to coordinate the risk management process. You would require reporting on adequacy of internal controls as a means of optimizing the economic and efficient utilization or organization resources and provide suitable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with international/local policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper management of financial records at Head Office, Social Mobilization & Micro Finance Districts, Social Mobilization Unit Offices, Micro Finance Area Offices and Branches and donor funded projects.
  • Ensure implementation of activities in line with TRDP’s or donor requirements
  • To ensure achievement of the organizational objectives,
  • Create awareness, train and build capacity of TRDP’s staff.
  • Conduct a periodic follow-up on audit recommendations and provide the same to management for review.
Candidate Profile:
  • We are looking for candidate with ACMA, Articles (CA Part Qualifies), ACCA, CIMA, MBA finance. Professional certification like CIA would be preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of audit experience preferably in development sector.
  • Good Understanding of Rights Based Approach.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Good Reporting and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exposure/ ability to work in a diversified multicultural set-up.
  • Ability to undertake frequent travel to field.
